The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana invites you to participate in the 2018 edition of Cork & Fork, a food and wine experience of Carnaval Miami, a series of events designed to showcase the best of Miami talents in arts, music, fashion, food, and fútbol. Most importantly, by participating in “Cork & Fork,” we invite you to join our familia and be a supporter of the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation’s youth development programs.

Event Details

Cork & Fork is a ticketed event going on its third year, happening at the heart of Coral Gables. Each of the 4 sessions offer a unique experience by featuring cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, restaurants representing diverse cuisines, international wines and spirits.

Celebrity Chefs Eileen Andrade, Adrianne Calvo, Cindy Hutson and Michelle Bernstein have been hosts of Cork & Fork in the past. Cork & Fork is traditionally broadcasted on WPLG 10’s SoFlo Taste show.

  • Location: LeJeune Rd and Miracle Mile in Coral Gables
  • Cost per session: $65
  • Session 1 – Saturday, March 3th from 1 to 4pm
  • Session 2 – Saturday, March 3th from 7 to 10pm
  • Session 3 – Sunday, March 4th from 12pm to 3pm
  • Session 4 – Sunday, March 4th from 5 to 8pm
  • 400 guests’ capacity per session (we are expanding from 200 guests, since tickets have sold out every time!)

To enjoy benefits of the full promotional campaign, we urge you to confirm your participation as soon as possible but no later than November 15, 2018. The sooner you confirm, the more we can talk about it!

Event Logistics

Kiwanis Club of Little Havana responsibilities:

  • L shaped station with one (1) 8’ table and one (1) 6’ table
  • Table covers with skirts
  • Wristband access for up to ____ workers/staff entering through service entrance (name provided)
  • Ice
  • Electric outlets available upon request (not to include extension cable)
  • Water

Restaurant/Chef partner responsibilities:

  • Provide promotional material timely as soon as the agreement is signed, to include: chef’s bio, photo and/or restaurant logo in Hi resolution format, social media handles
  • Ensure no less than 500 small servings of your specialty dish per session
  • Ensure enough staff to tent to 400 guests per session
  • Staff professionally dressed
  • Staff must be wearing vinyl gloves always while serving
  • Ensure plates, plastic ware and napkins for 500 servings
  • Brand your own station. We encourage you to bring banners, menus, business cards, coupons, etc.
  • Proof of insurance
  • Arrive 1 hour before session starts for setup
  • Commitment to stay through the end of your session
  • Be responsible for your own extension cable
