Carnaval Miami Registration Form

Dear Contestant,

Thank you for your interest in Miss Carnaval Miami 2024!

To register, we ask that you complete the following application and submit the required documents with the application fee (Non-Refundable). Please read and follow the instructions below:
Fill out the form and all necessary requirements.
Pay your application fee of $100 via PayPal or Credit Card.
Approval will be once the application is completed and all documents are provided.
The submission deadline is January 18, 2024. Once your application has been reviewed, we will send an email to all contestants that have been accepted to participate.
RULES & REGULATIONS

Contestants Must:

• Be between the ages of 16 and 26 on Competition Night
• Be single, never married and not be a Parent.
• Natural born female
• Possess strong verbal communication skills (Spanish a plus but not necessary)
• Currently reside in South Florida
• Be of good moral character
• Submit two photographs (1 close-up & 1 full body)
• Must provide a driver’s license (or legal ID) original copy of her birth certificate.
• Submit $100 entry fee with application. (non-refundable)
• The contestant and contestant’s supporters, guests or visitors, will conduct themselves in a respectful, professional manner at all times during the competition. Bad sportsmanship is NOT tolerated and will be grounds for removal of Contestant from the pageant without refund.
• No boys or men are allowed in dressing rooms at any time.
• The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has the right to refuse anyone entry into the Miss Carnaval Miami competition.
• Contestant and Contestants’ parents or legal guardians agree to abide by eligibility requirements and affirm that all information provided is true.

*This is a tentative schedule. New activities may be added, and some dates might change accordingly

The winner and her court must be available to appear in public, radio, television, social media integrations, and other related activities deemed by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana and CARNAVAL MIAMI for a full year including but not limited to a minimum of fifteen (15) personal appearances on behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana (KCLH) and Miss Carnaval Miami Sponsors. The winner will be responsible for the social media management of the Miss Carnaval Miami key communication channels, such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in conjunction with administration and Kiwanis of Little Havana marketing team.

The judges’ decisions are final, and the scores will not be disclosed.

The winner may not compete in any other pageant during the year of reign unless approved by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana (KCLH). Both the MCM winner and the four runners-up MAY NOT sign with any persons or agencies with regards to any promotional publicity using photographs or personal appearances for product endorsements or any other type of advertisement during the reign/qualifying year or using the “MISS CARNAVAL MIAMI” title or any similar title or name associated with “CARNAVAL MIAMI”, without the prior written consent of Kiwanis Club of Little Havana (KCLH).

The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana reserves the right to the title of “MISS CARNAVAL MIAMI” and any other similar title or names associated with “CARNAVAL MIAMI”.

All contestants will be notified by the KCLH office as to the time and place of Miss Carnaval Miami 2024 rehearsals, orientation, filming, photo sessions, workshops and judges’ interview, which will all be held prior to the event, they are all mandatory. Failure to attend sessions will automatically disqualify the contestant. No exceptions. THE KIWANIS CLUB OF LITTLE HAVANA, AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, MAY ELIMINATE ANY PARTICIPANT FOR WHATEVER REASON AT ANY TIME. All awards and prizes will be distributed after all the Carnaval Miami events are completed, at the discretion of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana.
