RULES & REGULATIONSContestants Must:
• Be between the ages of 16 and 26 on Competition Night
• Be single, never married and not be a Parent.
• Natural born female
• Possess strong verbal communication skills (Spanish a plus but not necessary)
• Currently reside in South Florida
• Be of good moral character
• Submit two photographs (1 close-up & 1 full body)
• Must provide a driver’s license (or legal ID) original copy of her birth certificate.
• Submit $100 entry fee with application. (non-refundable)
• The contestant and contestant’s supporters, guests, or visitors, will conduct themselves in a respectful, professional manner at all times during the competition. Bad sportsmanship is NOT tolerated and will be grounds for removal of Contestant from the pageant without refund.
• No boys or men are allowed in dressing rooms at any time.
• The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has the right to refuse anyone entry into the Miss Carnaval Miami competition.
• Contestant and Contestants’ parents or legal guardians agree to abide by eligibility requirements and affirm that all information provided is true.

CONTESTANT RESPONSIBILITIES & REGULATIONS
Responsibilities of the Winner and Her Court:
- Public Appearances: The winner and her court must be available for public appearances, including radio, television, social media, and other activities as specified by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana (KCLH) and Carnaval Miami for a full year. This includes a minimum of fifteen (15) personal appearances on behalf of KCLH and Miss Carnaval Miami sponsors.
- Social Media Management: The winner will oversee the social media channels for Miss Carnaval Miami, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, in coordination with the KCLH marketing team.
Rules for the Titleholder and Runners-Up:
- Pageant Participation: The winner may not enter other pageants during her reign unless authorized by KCLH.
- Promotional Agreements: The winner and the runners-up may not engage in promotional activities, including endorsements or advertisements, or use the title “Miss Carnaval Miami” or any similar title without prior written approval from KCLH.
Additional Information:
- Title Rights: KCLH holds exclusive rights to the title “Miss Carnaval Miami” and related titles.
- Mandatory Events: Contestants will be informed by the KCLH office of the schedule for rehearsals, orientation, filming, photo sessions, workshops, and judges’ interviews, all of which are mandatory. Failure to attend will result in automatic disqualification.
- Discretionary Elimination: KCLH reserves the right to eliminate any participant at their discretion for any reason.
- Awards and Prizes: All awards and prizes will be distributed following the conclusion of Carnaval Miami events, as determined by KCLH.
