Carnaval on the Mile 2019 is literally around the corner and we are looking forward to receiving your applications once again.

Please follow the 3 steps

  1. Fill up the form and email it to us
  2. Pay your application fee via PayPal or a Credit Card
  3. Wait for the approval email

Deadline to register your application will be January 18th, 2019. Once we have reviewed your application we will send an email to all participants that have been accepted into the event. This email will be sent out, by January 26th, 2019.

Application Requirements:

Each artist must complete a paper application with only one artist per entry, unless you are entering as collaborating artists. Collaborating artists is defined as a group of two (2) artists that work together on any one piece of art. If two artists collaborate, it is regarded as one joint entry. If accepted, they may exhibit only that work which is collaboration.

A separate application must be completed for each medium you would like to apply for. Each application must include a jury fee and its own set of images. Artists may not apply twice in the same category.

A total of five (5) digital images OR photographs. Digital images must be less than 1.8 MB in JPG format. All five (5) images must be submitted on one CD or printed. Four (4) images must represent the type of work which will be displayed and sold. Please send your disk in a disk sleeve and labeled with your name and category.

The fifth (5th) image must show the booth display with work visible. If a booth image is not available, then a grouping of works representative of the works to be exhibited at the show may be submitted.

NOTE: Booth image is mandatory, your application will not be judged without it. NOTE:  This is a blind jury process; please avoid submitting booth images with any identifiable sign, or photo of the artist themselves.

Event Details

To apply for the event, it is now mandatory to apply and pay application fee via our website. You will also need to upload the 5 images and check the medium you are applying for. If registration, fee payment and images are not properly uploaded, your application will not be processed.

Deadline to register will be January 18th, 2019. Once we have reviewed your application, we will send an email to all participants that have been accepted into the event. This email will be sent out by September 26th, 2019.

Once accepted you will receive details on the space you wish to rent, for example if a rental tent is needed or a corner supplement is needed. This paper work and payment will need to be sent via regular mail to the Kiwanis of Little Havana office located at 1400 SW 1 Street, Miami, FL 33135. All fees will be due in our office by no later than February 3rd, 2019, or space will not be reserved.

This year we will be providing Light Dome Tents as Rentals. These are professional artist show tents that allow a good source of light in. You have a choice of the tent by itself, or the tent with professional Pro Panels to hang your pieces. All tents will have the appropriate weights.

Event Prices

Fees for 2019 Event are as follows:

  • Standard Booth: 
    • Standard Booth Space (10′ x 10′) Bring your own WHITE tent Fee: $600
    • Package A: Booth Space (10’ x 10’) $600 + TENT RENTAL ONLY WITH WEIGHTS Fee: $190
    • Package B: Booth Space (10’ x 10’) $600 + Tent Rental TENT WITH PRO PANELS AND                        WEIGHTS Fee: $300
  • Double Booth:
    • Double Booth Space (10′ x 20′) Bring your own WHITE tent Fee: $1,200
    • Package A: Booth Space (10’ x 20’) $1,200 + Tent Rental with rain gutter Fee: TENT ONLY Fee: $365
    • Package B: Booth Space (10’ x 20’) $1,200 +Tent Rental with rain gutter TENT AND PRO PANELS Fee: $590
  • Corner Supplement (Total of 8 corners for Fine Arts and 8 corners for Crafts, assigned on first come first serve basis. Fee: $150
